MAAB Instructor David Allen spends a considerable amount of time traveling to USA Judo events around the United States serving as a referee and event announcer. This year he was in Dallas, Texas to referee the Senior Nationals and also served as emcee for the USA Judo Night of Champions honoring the lifetime achievements of two World renowned judoka, Sensei Noboru Saito and Sensei Shigeyuki "Ace" Sukigara. Olympian and World Judo Player Brian Olson was also honored with the Champions Award for performance.
